Day Seven Scourie to Gairloch Campsite 2 hour 20 mins and 98 miles, this is does not account for stopping off in places on the way to look.

With the weather with us we went on our way crossing Kylesku Bridge, stopping for pictures of Ardvereck Castle.

Our next stop was Corrieshalloch Gorge but before we go there we stopped off at  Ullapool for some Fish and Chips.

Corrieshalloch Gorge

Corrieshalloch Gorge  there was a walk down to the Gorge which took about 10 mins on a good path, on arrival there is a sign above the bridge indicating there were only 6 people allowed on the Bridge at any time. The Gorge was magnificent a must to stop and have a look, you could go over the bridge and walk down the other side but we only stay this side of the bridge.

We made our way round the coast and decided we would pitch for the night on a campsite, we called in at Gruinard Bay Campsite but unfortunatly someone that minute had jsut taken the last pitch so we carried on the Gairloch Campsite. The site cost us again around the £49 a night for 5 of us, the site was lovely and flat with pitches that looked down on to the sea front and the village we had the last hardstanding pitch further in onthe field but it was still very pleasent. The Toilet block was all new and it was the best so far, lovely and warm with lovely nice shower cubicles where you showered and then came into a nother part and dressed (all in the same cubical)  We took a stroll down from the campsite to the village below and walked along the sea front as far as we could and it is a very pretty village with a nice pub over looking the sea.
